This past weekend the program held it's first of three ID Camps for up and coming players that are interested in post-secondary play and those eager to be a "MRU Cougar" one day.
The camp was very demanding with double sessions both days but was well received by the players who attended.
The camp focus was on ball possession which incorporated passing/receiving/support/movement off the ball concepts and of course some good laughs by all.
Thanks to all who attend.
The next camp will be held April 6 and 7th @ MRU.
This camp will also include a fitness evaluation component to see how you measure up to a current CIS athlete and identify some strengths and/or weaknesses in your physical preparation as you prepare for University soccer.
